What program can I use to retune the ECU in my 99OB? I've found a few different ones but nothing seems compatible with these cars because no-one seems dumb enough to bother. Except for me.

As far as I know, those ecus are not programmable. The chips can't be flashed.

If it's a 2.5L you can get a reflashed ecu from I-Speed, otherwise I think you are out of luck if you don't want to go with the PP6 or a standalone.

That's complete twaddle. Subaru can reflash them, and I-Speed can reflash them. It's just that we don't have the DIY reflashing tools available from the likes of Cobb and OpenECU that the Denso equipped cars have.

    I-Speed doesn't mention MY99 Legacy. They have MY99 RS and 00 Legacy.

^^I don't think that was it. it was because he was trying to pull alot of timing. if you just use it for minor modifications, or for just fuel, it's fine.

    Sounds like the best plan.

    2.25?

I know my cat is gonna need replacing sometime in the next 12 months so I will do an entire system.

High flow cats? Best value for money.
