is there any shops in MN that specializes in subaru swaps?

pros and cones of a EJ20k swap? ej20k only goes for 2-3k not bad... besides the labor of putting it in and all, im for sure not gonna do it myself.

    thanks ;)

you're better off doing a usdm swap, imo, since you can tune it much easier... and I have a 20g/k swap in my sedan

It's not the best thread, but it's a start... start reading here and don't stop reading every swap thread you can find over the next couple months http://www.rs25.com/forums/f128/t138490-swap-right-you.html

Why do you want to do an ej20k swap? Cost?

What are your goals for the car (which you didn't specify, but I'm guessing this is going into a 1997 impreza?)?

Biggest obstacle will be sourcing parts for the swap as well as later on when stuff eventually starts breaking. Also, how much are you budgeting for this project? Here's my preemptive "double it" recommendation.

There are many other options depending on your goals and budget.

Skip that swap. Go straight to an ej205 or any other usdm turbo swap or jdm ej205/7 GD-chassis.

honestly if your going through the trouble of doing the swap id do sti driveline 1st you can get it for about 3.5k or less for everything and then go for the power. I went the power route 1st on my wrx and i regreted it as i started breaking driveline parts within the first 2 months.
