Anybody know where to get a old school EA82 Turbo motor rebuilt? Not sure if I want to tackle it myself even thou I have built a could v/8's for my own cars. I will pull the motor, just dont know who does that work around here. My machine shop guy doesn't do boxers. :(

(just thinking when I switch to the TD04 turbo that it would be nice to have the motor rebuilt too. Car is still in to nice of shape to let go down hill, just needs a paint job.

Do we get a deal thru anyone?

not a total rebuild, just a reseal, all new gaskets, but I wasn't going to touch the block.....then I got my scholarship check......now I'll just use the already rebuilt motor out of Morgan's old wagon

My 6 cylinder makes 1250 lb/ft of torque.
Give Jeff A at the dealership a call (BP Subaru service manager). He's got a shop in his garage (lift and everything) and might be willing to take that on as a project. He's who I usually have work on my car. His pricing is pretty good too.
