fuji_k does good work but you may have to have chux do your wiring.

I would say do it yourself. It would probably take 3 or 4 days to do the swap but the wiring harness is another story. There are some pretty elaborate write ups on this subject and I'm assuming that both engines bolt up the same (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Just my 2 cents but the best way to know your car is to do this sort of stuff yourself. Now this is all assuming you have time to do this and a garage. Now i don't know him personally but as far as I've seen on mnsubaru over the years fuji_k does know his way around the engine bay so i would definatly second that suggestion. Sorry if this wasn't too helpful but i like to suggest working on your own car rather then paying someone else to.

If you do the swap yourself, You are looking at 1 week to many months for a swap. Not everything goes right the first time and you will need to get unexpected parts.

My swap took 3 weeks but 1 of those weeks was waiting for unexpected parts...

I would try and find a reliable transportation before the swap.

yea fujik is really good at those kinds of things. and hell probably know what you need (unexpected parts) so you can order them while you still have your car running so theres not alot of down time.
