After talking with several members last night at Firestone Saint Paul, it was clear that a great and not-too-difficult mod my '07 n/a wagon needs is replacing the transmission and engine mounts with stiffer ones. Which ones should I get? STI/SPT? Where's the best place to find these?

Are they these: (SPT part #'s) ????

    D1010FE110 engine mount
    D1010FE120 engine mount
    D1040FE000 pitch stopper
    D1010FE020 5MT mount

I just want to be sure before I order.

    Thanks for the help! :)

Derek, I briefly met you last night. I was in the wingless black wrx.

Anyways, just in case you weren't told. Having all those on your car you will feel more vibrations and gear noise....just an FYI. I have all of them and love them, but the noise is more apparent.

    good luck!!

    Call these guys

Flatirons Tuning out in Boulder. They usually have these in stock. Call 303-443-0114 and ask for Jon Cooley. He's one of the smarter guys out there.

Also, tell them Etchy sent you. I met you last night, too. If you need help putting these in I'm more than game.

I just picked a set of GrpN ones up from Mtka Morries. Seemed a lot easier than paying shipping, and we get a club discount.

I missed some of your OP, the question on which one(s) to get. Personally, if I had a newer (06) NA, but had the 5psd, then I'd get the transmission mount first. It's minimizes lateral flex and even a NA can benefit from less slack/flex. It helps with more consistent shifts. Unless you have major play in your engine mounts you may not notice a big enough difference in the pitch & engine mounts...for the $140 or $160 or so that you'll spend. just my .02.

Thanks Steve! I'll take your advice (one-two others said same thing) and just start with the tran mount.

Also thanks for letting me look at/mock up the WRX cold air scoop to figure out what I'm gonna do to make it fit with my frankintake. Big help!
