Hmm, just did my 1st wrap tonight on up/down pipes for a 05 legacy gt. dp has a high flow cat and up-pipe has a flex section.

    a couple questions

How do you get the wrap to smoothly (w/o bunching up or leaving gaps) go over different diameters in the pipes? and how do you wrap the flex section?

I tried to follow the guide line on the wrap and made sure it was very tight.

The wrap is on and currently drying (soaked in water for the installation)

I want to make sure this is on correct before it's treated with the spray.

    thx

its pretty tough to get a "clean" wrap over flex sections.

I have absolutely NO experience with this. That said, what I have gleaned from questions and posts about this on different forums is that some folks wrap the three sections separately. I dunno if they wrap the flex before or after the other two. And others just don't wrap the flex. In my mind it seems a little counter-productive to to leave the flex unwrapped, but again, no experience pour moi.

Let us know how this all goes, eh. One day I hope to actually have an uppipe to wrap...
