    last year i sold my 01 cr250r w/ exhaust in great condition for the same price. sweet bike.

    It probably would again now that the AMA is going to allow the 250 pingers to compete against 250 four-pokes. :laugh:

    ^ Torque, oh and there not as heavy as they were anymore. Take the KTM EXC/XC 5xx I have seen 49-53 at the wheel horsepower. 2-strokes where you at ... other than the SX/XC 250 those are monsters.

    A 250 pinger makes more torque than a 250 thumper everywhere across the rev range except for above like 10.5k. Go and look at some dyno charts if you don't believe me.

    Don't believe the hype.

    +1 there isnt a "turbo lag" powerband like a 125, its all power all across the table.

    not hatin on 4 strokes but 2 strokes make more power cc for cc

    Don't get me wrong I love the KTM 250 and 300 those things GO! But I will more than likely still buy a 4 stroke again, I love that sound plus I just change the oil every 300-500 miles instead of top ends. Yes I change oil on my Suzuki religiously.
