Nfl.com didn't have an auction draft option last year. You guys said you wanted to play a keeper (1 player) league as well. If this isn't the case we can do yahoo.
I do hate ESPN, but they do auction. We did it last year with them. I would do ESPN for the benefit of the auction draft. I would also give up my 1 player.
I don't remember anything about a keeper. I don't really care which site we use, but I do like doing auction, it's a lot more fun and everyone gets a shot at any player.

So... thoughts? Keeper or Auction? Auction we could do at someone's house or a bar... but the benefit would be that the crappy WiFi won't mess with us this time around.
Well, it would be easy to do both. Keeper for those of us returning so you buy your keeper for $1 (no one else can bid on them).

Location tbd. Date will be during preseason play (end of august). Buy in depends on what people want to do (10-20). We will do the standard 200 monopoly dollars to draft with.

+1 for $20 and auction draft. I actually like ESPN's auction format. If we do auction, do it by computer but live in same place. I have a buddy who tried to do a manual auction draft and it took six hours. Mixed feelings on keeper league, especially given that no one in this league trades anything ever. Hoarding sons of bitches
I'm in. Auction style, sure I'll try it. Don't really care what site we use. And the buy-in and keeper rule I'm for. Only night I'm unavailable is Wednesday (part-time job).
sorry for the late notice but I'm going to have to bow out. Work/life schedule is too busy right now (and into the next couple months) so I don't want to commit to something I can't follow through with. I can continue to update the OP but I won't be playing and won't be commish this year. Anyone willing to pick this up?
I am down to play some FF, I just didn't want to commit to be the commish because of my impending lack of sleep and household craziness in the next week and a half. I figured it is best not to leave me in charge. (really of anything ) I have one draft this weekend.
You guys should definitely still play! Ill adjust the op as needed. I just can't commit to it with my next 6 weeks of work/home life looking the way they are. Someone just needs to step up and set up the league.

Mike, I'll check with Tim. I have been very spotty about getting on here, and just noticed that Sheen bowed out. This is the only league I play, and I really don't want to miss out, but I can't commish because 1) lack of experience, especially with auction style and 2) working two jobs at the moment, around 60 hours a week. Anyone else looking to step up? The first games are coming up fast and we will need to have the draft soon.
