its official! im now jealous we didnt get **** for snow so far! they are saying if it warms up we may not have a white chirstmas here!
that really sucks. im heading up to detroit lakes on the 27th for my families christmas, and i was really looking forward to snowmobiling. this would be the first year within my memory i didnt get to go snowmobiling up there around christmas. so i really hope there gets to bo some snow up there.

haha I'm just givin you crap. I know cops are normal people and they like to have fun every now n then. It just ticks me off when I get such a pricey ticket for something so small. This was like a 2000 rmp max U turn in my 2.5rs. There was so little power put down it's not even funny. Anywyas, rant over.

I know what you mean, man. I got a ticket on Thanksgiving Day, in the county in which I used to work, when my fiancee and I were headed to her parents' place for T-day. A ND highway patrolman that didn't like me when I worked there, and who knows my car (because everyone in the county does). He had me at 79/70, or so he said, then changed it to 78/70 on the ticket. He was full of it, because the STi's speedo is off, and I've had it checked by using the NDHP Speed Calculation Card, as well as numerous patrol car radars...do be clocked at 78, my speedo would have to show 83, and I don't drive that fast anymore. Needless to say, I called him on it, and he huffed and puffed and still gave me the ticket, and I sent a letter to the county district court explaining my deployment but contesting the citation anyway. Dishonest cops really piss me off. Not to mention he was so rude that my fiancee was astounded. And he couldn't even drop it to 75/70 so that there wouldn't be a point against my license. I NEVER write tickets for under 10mph over on the highway, unless the guy is an absolute donkey ***** when I walk up on the car. Or he drives an Evo. :biggrin:

Yea I'm not familiar with how the oil lines are ran on the sti, so I'm kinda clueless as to what happened here as well. Everybody is getting bad luck lately it seems. This sti, my buddies tranny blew in his wrx, and i got a stupid ticket I guess I shouldn't complain lol

Well...thought I'd know more about what happened today but the dealership has not had a chance to get to it yet. So I guess we'll find out next week if I need a new motor or not.

Ouch that sucks man. I'd have to see it to tell ya for sure. Just look around in both wheel wells and see if it's just missing a plastic bolt piece. And who are these "guys" you keep talking about? I have guys? I would like to meet them to see if they'd like to fix miscellaneous things on my car.
By the way...Does anybody happen to have an extra drivers side headlight that'd fit a 98 2.5rs? Some butt hole thought it'd be fun to kick mine out. Stupid jerks, they could have at least busted my tails instead of the headlight. There's no sweet aftermarket headlights that I really care for, but the jdm tails would be nice lol.
i went in to tintmasters to find a shop that will re align my rear bumper and they recommended progressive! thanks!

I have a 98 headlight in the garage, idk what side though... i'll check and txt u later... otherwise i have a set of black headlights on my car i'd love to trade for 99+ headlights, lol
