So I have been thinking alot and I have decided that I think it's time to change my summer wheel setup. Here's what I have now and I'm looking to trade for gold or black ... I have to head to work but I'll include more details soon.
Ok so my reasoning behind the swap. Well I feel like I'm still driving Jake's car, even though most everything he had on it is now gone. Visually it is still Jake's car, not taking any credit away from Jake he built a stunning car but now it is my turn to make it my car. As for trading the wheels if anyone likes the gunmetal and polished lip look and have a 17x7.5-8 set of rims in either black or gold I would gladly take a look at them. My other option is to blast and powder coat, but before I do that I was wondering if anyone wanted to trade.
i have a set of 18" subzeros in bronze if you are interested in looking at them they can still be seen in my avatar
just a thought.....sell those wheels and get some suspension bits. you can always come across some killer sales on wheels around the holidays
Not part of the game plan, plus I don't wanna come across not having enough money come spring and have to ride around on my winters till I get a setup.
Didnt know Subaru's had an off season, thought they were all year round players. I may have to rethink my purchase???
there is an off season for wheels. ie summer wheels and winter wheels but yes subarus do play all year long in general.
So I am still considering this, I really want to paint them but I would hate for someone else to want them if I do. I am looking for another set of Rota's or something similar is price range, also looking for a straight up trade. The Rims are 17x7.5 +48 (IIRC) I would like something again very similar as will be taking my tires I have now off and putting them on the "traded" rims if someone wants to. one has maybe an inch of rash on the lip and others have normal wear and tear. The wheels have seen 3 owners and 2 vehicles ... they are used Also these wheels are supposed to weigh in at 18lbs a rim.
I got a set of 225/45's I would love to strech on those No I like the look of 17x9's and 245/255's but I just don't see the need right now.
If you have curly hair you can paint them. ONLY THEN, AND when you bitch about drinking but you drink too. Only then.
I don't think you really need it, but I am pretty sure clearcoat is clearcoat...but I am not that smart about such things.
