its finally about time i got my front and rear sti seats on. i got the rear from Ylime/ Carls old seat and got the front from WMC. front seats were off an 05, and i'm surprise both the front and rear seats bolted right on.

Pics were taken from my phone so they're not the best...

the belts NEED to be paralell to the shoulders,if they are not you add immence g's on the spine. meaning if they are bolted to your floor or the factory seat rail bolts your spine would basically crush itself from severe compression in the case of an accident. get a harness bar or run the harness to the rear upper strut tower bar by going over the rear seat backs.

Your straps should be going straight back, not straight down. Sure, they'll hold you in place while you're sitting in them, but in an accident you're going to be loading those belts in ways they're not designed for. If you look at pictures of any caged car (or any car with a properly mounted harness) you'll see that the belts are going back, not down.

as others have said, you belts are mounted improperly and could injure or kill you in an accident. get a harness bar
(they don't need to be mounted straight back but they need to be within a certain range - scroth's website has very detailed instructions on proper harness mounting)

Is there an anti-sub belt in there? If no, then you're better off with your stock 3 pt belts. A 4pt setup is about the worst thing you can do short of no seatbelt. They'll be pulling you out of the footwell if you hit something.

Think about the physics of the belts. When you run into something, your weight go against them, if they're mounted straight back, it pulls on the belt with no up/down force. If the belts are mounted down to the floor, then when your weight goes forwards, the belts will be trying to pull down, and can compress your spine. Even in a relatively minor crash you could really **** up your spine that way.

Indeed! A harness without a cage = roof squishing you when you roll

    Nice seats though

If you're getting that much intrusion into the body then it's not really going to matter whether or not it's a 3 or 4 point setup.

And yes, a harness on a street car is a big steaming bowl of Uncle Bens.
