The driver mod is going to be the best money you'll ever spend.

The driver mod is where you find and attend as many driving schools and track events that you can. The education you gain from that will be priceless, and can transfer from car to car. It'll also make you faster with a stock car than someone who dumped their money into mods instead of education.

    1. Budget (for inevitable ringland failure).
    2. Driver mod (if you're interested in becoming a better driver).
    3. Regular maintenance (to prolong time before #1)
    4. Crawford or IAG air-oil separator (again, to prolong time before #1)
5.Decide whether you want a) a better handling car, b) a faster car in a straight line, or c) both a and b.
    5a. Sell it and buy a BRZ/FRS
5b. Stage 2 + E85. Part 2: build short block (do ample research first). Part 3: upgrade turbo and supporting mods (injectors, fuel pump, fuel filter, intercooler, etc). Part 4: repeat #2.
5c. Sell it and buy an Evo.

Ok, excuse my slight sarcasm in #5, but I would say #1-4 are very important. Not all STI's blow up if you take proper care of them.

As far as your first mod, you have to ask what you really want out of the car. If it's better handling, get quality struts + lower springs or QUALITY coilovers (RCE T2's, AST's, Bilsteins, Ohlins, etc). If it's more power, a proper stage 1 tune and eventually stage 2 + tune is a good route. There are also some small mods that are "cheap" and make the driving experience better (such as steering rack bushings...one of my favorite mods that I did to my 08).

Mobb Deep may be a bit much for the first mob. I'd do Glitch Mob, personally. Enough to blow your hair back, but not enough to butter your toast.
