So i decided its time to fix my front bumper. For those of you who don't know, i was being in idiot last february with a freind, was going way to fast on a road i wasn't familiar with at night, and drove it off the road into a swamp that was a good ten foot drop at about 60 MPH. NO damage whatsoever besides a funked up bumper and passenger side foglamp.

This next week i'm gonna get some estimates, would anyone here have a good estimate for these estimates.

I'm gonna need a new front bumper with paint and all that, and all the splashguards, brake ducts, etc., etc., up front there... Basically all the plastic in front of the front tires and all the clips and little parts to hold it all on.

I was thinking about $600 for a good job, is that about right or am i way off?

    any comments are very appreciated...

It is 500 for the bumer if you go to a stearlership cause I had my front replaced over the summer cause I was in a bit of an incident. My guess is that it could be a little bit more...I would say 800 tops. That guess is still prolly over shootin it.

Bumper - $137 painted for around $200 (my best guess)
    Brake ducts - $39 x 2
    clips- $15

Brad Huber @ Hamline auto body will get it painted and you could ask me nicely to put it on.:D

I would ask him about his price for the cover as well. He is cool he has a STI

    sweet guys, thanks.

I was on Subarparts before and a new bumper is pretty inexpensive, then the ducts and the splashgurads are like $60 a piece. So parts will cost me roughly $300 + labor and paint.

But i may try brad there at hamline, i'l let you guys know in the next couple of days, i came to the conclusion that i may store the car for the winter again and just get a beater for about $700 and keep the miles low on my rex. But i'm still contemplating both ideas.
