Hello everyone! So, we traded in our 08 Hyundai Elantra a week ago on an 05 Forester XS , crystal gray metallic in color. Has some minor drives door to fender carnage, but it's barely noticeable, so I am going to leave it for now. Going to be tinting the windows next week, but I am looking for inexpensive mods to help with power and mileage. Thinking intake, headers, axle back exhaust, maybe intake manifold spacers. But that's about it unless there are other thoughts others have? I am not new to the car scene, but I am to the Subie scene. I used to own a 2002 grand prix that was N/A from the factory, I cammed, s/c and headered it, to the tune of 275 whp. Was a fun car, but FWD hp can be fun in the summer, winter time it's b/s, I had to park it in the winters. Well now, I am into the diesel scene, I upgraded from a Ford gasser into an 01 Dodge with a Cummins, currently I have injectors intake and exhaust, and I am working on saving up for a new turbo. So now I am looking into modding this one a little, but I don't want to turbo it. I have plans for a second Subie in about two years. . . . looking for a 05-07 turboed outback with a manual, maybe two-tone blue and silver or blue and grey. Also, I got a dog guard from the dealer, out of another car, but the other car just so happened to be a non sun roof car, where as ours has a sun roof, so it doesn't fit! grrrrr! Hopefully someone has the opposite problem and wants to trade with me! I hope to learn a lot here, and maybe I can teach some too. Cameron

Bam we have a winner. Anyways, I work Tuesday through Saturday so I have a messed up schedule, but I am the only guy at work that gets a 2 day weekend every week. I also work until 8, sometimes 9 at night so that cuts down on most night time and weekend activities. Sadly. However I hope this to only be short term and be able to change this in 6 months or so where I can then become manager instead of assistant, go to opening hours and figure out the hours to suit my needs a little better.
