I'll looking to ether get some Fog Lights or some Fog light covers. I have an '02 WRX, Blue. Any suggestions? I do not want to buy something that isn't going to look good! If you could, leave a name or the item and a link to its website... THANKS! Any thought on these two items? https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/product_info.php?products_id=197 https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/product_info.php?products_id=636 Would they work good together?
I have a drivers side fog light that I'll sell you! Just needs a new light bulb. ($3.00) That way you only need the passanger. I have those fog lights and I have the paint matched covers. I think the paint matched covers look better. I got mine from rallysport. They came with the sti stencils but I didn't use them.
The ones from Rallysport seem to not have the STi Logo.... Correct me if I'm wrong? http://www.rallysportdirect.com/shop/gtspec-subaru-wrx-mesh-fog-light-covers-2002-2003-p-230.html
The Hella 500 fog lights as seen here: http://www.mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19202 Can be gotten for around $70. The brackets (another $30-40 depending on if you get the Hellas which I hear need some work to fit, or the Kartboys) are not strictly necessary for installation. They make it easier though. I think the ambers look great wth WRB, but clears are available too. http://www.rallylights.com/hella/500.asp
It's a little more than that where I've seen them, and they only have the driving light pattern, not the foglight pattern. And there is no such thing as a 500ff. http://www.hella.com/produktion/Hel.../Performance_Lighting/FF_Series/FF_Series.jsp
Thank you. They're Morettes. I really like the light pattern of the Hella 500's. With the Kartboy mounts, they were VERY easy to install.
Oops. I owe MYang an apology. Hella doesn't mention the 500FF anywhere on their website or other promotional material, but it in fact does exist. So, my apologies. The standard 500 in driving pattern is $55, which is a good deal. The 500FF in driving pattern is $70. The difference is that the 500FF uses the reflector to define the pattern, so the lens is clear (like the stock foglights on the bugeyes), this means that the light can be more efficient. I'm not convinced that with a light as small as the 500s that it's a huge difference, but indeed they do make them. Either way, these are still driving pattern lights, and not foglights. Edit: and now Hella does show them on their website, just not as part of the FF series...
