Forester folks- Strut question

What's the best reasonably priced strut for a 2001 Forester S model? We're talking daily driver and nothing agressive.

are we talking KYB GR-2?

 

doesnt it take all the same stuff as any other Impreza?

 

i dunno, I'm an idiot when it comes to the foresters and it's a customer car so i haven't researched the interentz thoroughly yet.

upon inspection they did look the same as any other 5/100 crap

 

different. but interchangeable. the forester stuff is taller.


GR2s are nice. but if performance isn't a priority, Monroes. that's what we put on my mom's leggy.....

taller yes, but i was always under the impression that basically all the Impreza stuff can be swapped over since the Forester is just a rebodied Impreza.

 

yeah, i checked further, they can be swapped with no issues
