HA! I drove striaght through that ice storm on my way to Colorado! They closed I-80 through 1/2 the state right after we drove it. :eek4:
I was amazed at the amount of carnage on the highway when we drove through. We counted over 200 semi trucks in the ditch, upside down, smashed, people in turned over cars, trucks, etc.... Every truck stop we stopped at had no power and/or hundreds of truckers waiting out the storm. I asked on gas station guy hat to expect if I moved on...he said 250 miles of hell. he also told me not to go....but we did and made it safely. love the subaru!!!
