so I just found out that any subaru front diff carrier is interchangeable with any other one....SOOO...I can get a front LSD for a wrx etc. and put it in my D/R 4WD box!!!! w00t!!! anyway, does anyone here have any experience with them? how tight are they (this is of concern to me, as it's not unheard of for me to only have 2 wheels on the ground, one front and one rear, so I need a solid hookup through the diff)? also...anyone have experience with replacing one? I swapped the carrier for my rear diff to make it a LSD, but the front one's in the tranny.... :shock:
the front would require splitting the cases :shock: and im pretty sure only the sti came with a front lsd, but that doesnt mean they dont make aftermarket ones!
Yeap, good luck finding a front LSdiff for cheap... if you do, tell me where you got it I'd love a good deal on one
money isn't the issue here (I can't afford anything now, but this would be worth big bucks to me!) And yes, it would have to be an aftermarket one...but FOR a WRX anyone??......anyone??
