Ok so I did some searching and found an old thread on frozen rotors and a group buy from last year I think. I was wondering if anyone knew if we still get a discount from them or if anyone is interested in doing another group buy? I need some rotors and some hawk hps pads and thought maybe with winter coming other people might want to do there brakes as well.
I am sure russ will chime in on who to talk to there, but they have always given me a discount for being part of mnsubaru! Not sure if it is an mnsoc thing now and need a card to get the discount. I know they do not give as big of a discount when it is not a group buy, but any savings is good along with helping a local vendor.
^ yeah i would talk to Russ. I know we get a discount... and i think you have to be MNSOC but i am not 100% on that. Just send him a PM, and ask him.
I just picked up some about a month or so ago. Just contact them and let them know you're with the MN Subaru Club and they'll get you the pricing.
It depends on how much tracking or high speed/heavy braking you do if it is worth it from a practical standpoint. Looks are a completely different matter. I like mine from both standpoints. So what did you go for?
i would have been down for some new shoes (better to buy em cheap when you can) Perhapse others would be down? Could we start anothe gb?
Haha, I was there when that went down..... IIRC Mark is missing a front rotor so they will have everything ready on monday? Yes, MNSubaru (as a whole) gets the discount. So you don't have to be just a MNSOC member to get it. Mark is kinda enough to open it to everyone since MNS and Frozen rotors are local. As for a GB, I can get another one rolling. Usually I wait till jan/feb for a final delivery date since the bill can/is fairly large. What I have always done in the past is get the ball rolling in December, allow everyone a couple 6 weeks or so to get the money saved, then try for a club pickup at their shop around the end of January. In years past we would get around a 15% discount. Russ
LOL thats awesome why were you there?? and I think people should just call no point in waiting for an extra 5% just get some now 60 off was a good deal I thought... yeah monday everything will be in, just realzed though there only open till 5 ekk i get off at 4 hope traffic isnt to bad so i can make it on time.

I was in helping Mark with some computer work. There was actually 2 club members that called in while I was there. The other guy has a 08-09 white sti that road with Mark at Mid-america for a track day. Russ
