To sell quicker, maybe put the planned stage 1 tuning money into a new clutch/suspension work for the future owner?
I like... You have A PM get back to me asap!!! looking to own a subaru by next week so let me know thanks!!!!
Just a thought, why is it if some ones interested that you can only pm the details, why not just put the details in the original for sale ad?
kbb.com values Condition Value Excellent $14,335 Good $13,535 Fair $12,510 So, take fair value, -$1,400 for what subaru charges to put a stock clutch in, -$500 to get a used set of stock rims with tires that are ok to use for a little bit and id say we have an ok price for a car that needs a clutch right away, has been in an accident where a major body part was REPLACED instead of being pulled (which tells me it was pretty bad), and that has already had the stock motor replaced... which to me raises concern how its been treated if it needed to be replaced at 29k miles. So, in my eyes we have a price of $10,610... Also, why is the steering alignment off? That raises concerns its been put into a curb or some other form of accident considering nothing is posted about anything to do with having to mess with the alignment as a maintenance issue.....
Nice looking car, but it needs more maintenance info, also completely agree with devildevil, there are plenty of stock rex wheels for sale on here for cheap, even if they dont have the best tires still will make the buyer more willing with different rims/tires. GL on the sale.
he has no money to put into it as he stated but wants upper top dollar.... sad. he'll have it for a long time till he decides to go down and when he's really struggling he'll try to take you up on your offer but by then we will have already picked you one up. Not a lot of people have the ability, time or room to do a clutch on a car they just purchased nor do they want to... they want to enjoy it. a dealer would say the same things if you tried to trade... take off $ for bad clutch and none stock rims that they have to put $ into. kbb.com trade in values More Photos Condition Value Excellent $12,175 Good $11,500 Fair $10,350
"I don't have a job and bills are overdue," dosent sound like your fine.... just saying dude.. You cant expect top dollar for a car that needs work and is rocking steelies...
Alright guys, just a friendly reminder to keep it civil. Kondan, These guys have some pretty valid points. Needs alignment, has new short block, was in bad accident, and needs clutch. It's a perception thing, and unfortunately it doesn't look good. To be honest, I'd figure out a way to get the clutch and alignment & possible suspension issue fixed before putting on the market and asking 13500. Sorry if you're in a tough spot. Good luck to you!
I'm not expecting top dollar, if you find a 04-05 wrx for 10k then good for you. I set my price the way I see it.
