I have a asus m4a79xtd evo for sale. I overheated my PC shattering my fan bracket, you can get a new one from newegg for 3 dollars. No visible damage to the motherboard. I ended up replacing it because micro center did not have a CPU that fit this MOBO and They had a CPU/MOBO deal going on. It uses dd3 and a am3 cpu. Back when I played WoW it played it on all the best setting with 0 issues. I ran it with a phenom 2 amd CPU, You can find the CPU on amazon still.
If for some reason you cant get the MOBO to work I will take it back and refund the money. but I have no reason to suspect it is damaged/wont work. The over heating was caused by my PC being very very dirty and I broke the CPU by removing and dropping it because it was hot.
