    1995 Impreza L Coupe`. EG33 engine swap. 5 speed. Mileage unknown/unconfirmed.

I took this car in as part of a trade deal so I don’t know a ton about its history, but here’s what I’ve been told and what I’ve learned in the short time I’ve had the car:

Engine harness/ECU wiring merge supposedly done by iWire. Appears to be neat and clean; engine starts every time and runs strong and smooth.

Stainless long-tube headers merge into a single mid-pipe, ending in a stock muffler

Clutch is brand new, 6-puck solid-center unit. Converted to hydraulic actuation. Engagement is aggressive, but the pedal is light and I’ve yet to stall it. Tranny shifts great, despite a sloppy linkage. I can’t confirm but maybe it’s an STi shifter? Looks stock, feels like the Cobb I had in my OBS.

2.5 RS seats, front and rear. Stained but bolsters are good. Front seats are missing the seatbelt receivers, but they look to be interchangeable with any Subie of the era.

Interior wiring needs some sorting. Headlights and taillights work just fine, but the dash lights don’t work. Turn signals and back-up lights work. Heater fan does not currently work, and I don’t know why. Temp gauge does not work; I’m told it’s just a bad sensor but I've yet to look into it. Radiator fans are controlled by a toggle switch and guesswork.

Chassis seems to be decent; it tracks straight and doesn’t pitch or roll excessively. Struts are showing their age but not obnoxiously so. As far as I can tell the wheel bearings and CVs are all in good shape. Brakes need some work. They’re all there and will stop the car, but they could use a thorough bleeding and some new pads. Engine mounts have been reinforced and are essentially solid.

As it sits, this car could be a fun ice racer, rallX’er, or cornfield bomber. It certainly could be made into a winter-beater DD, but you’ll want to spend some time making it a little more comfortable. Stock engine mounts alone would go a long ways towards making it more civil for everyday life.

I’m looking to get $1950 for it as pictured. I’ve got some 15x7 Enkeis with brand new tires that I could put on it instead of the WRX 16s, but the price would then be $2150.

The car and I are located in Eau Claire, WI. I’m available to show it most evenings and weekends, please PM or call 71five-7nine7-O248 for more info. Thanks!

I was just informed by the car's original builder that the motor had about 118k miles on it when it was yanked from the SVX. If I had to guess I'd say it probably has about 130k on it now.

Same car, different seller. I took this as part of a trade deal from Jordan, and am now trying to sell it myself. Jordan's ad can be locked.

    Bump.

This is an or-best-offer kinda thing, so feel free to shout out a reasonable offer. It never hurts to ask. I might say "no", but I promise I won't be offended.
