FS: EJ257 shortblock

I have an EJ257 that has been sitting in the garage since lastyear spring.
The engine is torn apart w/ block split. It's in the phase where if you want to upgrade, now is the time. Miles unknown, but should be 30-70k I believe..

so tempting, what would it take to get it all back together?

 

new bearings, recommended new pistions to replace the stock hyper ones, block bolts, etc. wants pics?

i recommend this block since its already splitted..and plus you can get the forged pistons and rods and new bearings then slap them on without having to deal with them later. Chris i still have your book! haha but yes..this isn't all that bad to get for 650..saves you enough to get the internal parts! well...as for me...now im with the eg33...and you went to the ej20 bangers! well its all good...soon i shall be starting up my car..hopefully by tomorrow...

thats awesome dao, i cant wait to see it in person, and hopefully get a ride but yeah, the 33 gave me a hard fight and basically won out as far as i am concerned, i basically got what i wanted out of the origonal build and now its time to move onto to something else from subaru... and i WANTED to do a EJ257 from day one, and now with Fuji selling this block... it might happen
