I am selling this for someone else who is not on here so answers may be a little delayed. I do however know that this came from Sheen.
bump for a loud ass sub for being a 6". I've used alot of these and they are very high quality and well worth the $85.
speaker is a dual-2ohm speaker. I had it running off of 400w rms at 4ohm off an ED 9.2 (bridged) I bumped it up from 100w at 4ohm iirc (same amp). The speaker handled the 400w just fine. Using a test tone CD and the amp's crossover and lpf, I had the speaker playing ~40hz-125hz range. Sounded phenomenal for such a dinky little speaker. Box is custom made by ED and poly-filled.
my amp that's lying around should work quite well for this if anyone is interested it's currently got dibs by Clu7ch, but he was in that accident so it's pretty releasable
post up the specs or model # for the amp you have and I can probably help you out, Bill. Any amp that does anywhere between 75w and 400w rms at 4 ohms should be fine. Technically, you'd probably want to use a class a/b amp, but a class d amp would be fine. any of these would work. I used the 9.2 It fits nicely under the seats as well: http://www.edesignaudio.com/index.php?cPath=1_22 pm if you want a $50 off coupon code. otherwise if you're on a tighter budget, something like this would work if you plan on running powered door speakers at some point too: http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/4350
Will this play the rapping music? Looks like a nice little unit. Too bad my I have no more room under my seats (contraband storage).
Long, low bass notes a la "late night tip" and "blueberry yum yum..." no. It's a hybrid mid-bass driver. It can get as low as ~40hz, but the sweet spot is a bit higher.
I am very interested. would like to try a test fitment under the seat before I make a decision. I will text you since your banned.
