FS: WRX PPG Tranny

    Hey I am selling a 02-03 WRX tranny with strait cut 1-2 and helical 3-4 ppg gears with a stock 5th. This tranny was rebuilt last winter so it has less than a year on it probably like 10,000 miles at most. I will need a good stock tranny plus 3500obo. if you have a 04 or 05 i will need axels too

    an 04 tranny will swap right it. you do not need different axels. I know this because I did it on my wrx

    Yep, any WRX 5MT should swap right in with no issues.

    O also if it doesnt sell on here it is going on NASIOC Id like to sell it on here it would be much easier

    IIRC 06-07's are no go because of the shift fork or some such.
    02-05 would be better.

    Yeah, the 06-07 tranny has a different FD, so my guess is that it wouldn't be plug'n'play with the rest of the drivetrain.

    02-05 WRX are Pull style clutches, exactly the same clutch as the 91-94 Turbo Legacys, and same style as the STI ( i believe they are all pull).

    06+ WRX are push style (back to the RS/Outback/BD LGT style) clutch

    front is 3.90, rear is a 3.54 and a 1.1:1 center to make it an effective 3.9
