I just loaded Cobb Stage 2 to my '04 FXT last night. So far, it pulls hard and even seems to run/idle smoother. Here's my set-up; - VF39 - STi Ecu - STi TMIC - Individia Uppipe - Godspeed downpipe - STi axle-back I thought that the '04 FXT came with the same pump/injectors as the '04 STi. So I'm wondering if there is any reason to upgrade the fuel pump or am I OK with stock? If upgrade, recommendations? -Thanks
can I ask why you are using stage 2 map? aren't you suppose to be using the vf39 map? v2 http://www.accessecu.com/accessport/subaru/new/04FXTMaps.html v1 http://www.accessecu.com/accessport/subaru/original/04FXTMaps.html
Nope, he is using the STI ecu, so he will run the sti maps. And a fuel pump is cheap insurance on any car. Russ
Only way to tell for sure is a fuel pressure gauge. Like Russ said though, the pump is cheap. If you planned on running a fuel pressure gauge I'd get one (or borrow one). If not go for the pump.
