So my long term fuel trim is sitting around 15%. My brother thinks I need a pro-tune to get it closer to 0% or maybe my CAI is the problem. My teacher says I just been driving it too hard which I don't. 2-3 WOT a day isn't consider hard is it? Just want an opinion.

Which fuel learning (there are four)?

And yes, it's almost certainly due to your MAF not being scaled for an aftermarket intake. Or a leak.

There are four? I don't know I was just looking at the OBD II Scan Tool with Live Stream Data. Right now I am just running an OTS Stage 2 Map. Just don't know if it's worth it YET to get a protune.

If you're running an aftermarket intake it's worth it. How much is a new engine worth to you?

Yup, or he could just put the stock airbox back on and call it a day.

Sigh, when are people going to learn?

People will never learn. It is the same questions and the same thread that has been posted 1 bazillion times from back before the wrx was even over in the states. It will never happen cuz the younger the owners get, the lazier they get.

    +10^(10^100)

PUT YOUR AIRBOX BACK IN FOR CRAP's SAKE WHY CAN't ANYONE UNDERSTAND

Oh, and was it +15% or -15%?

15% is pegged on 16-bit cars, is it the same on STizzle's?

I think it depends on which learning value it is. I'm pretty sure the fuel learning A (idle MAFv) can go up to +-25% (at which point you'll get a CEL).

So why did you get rid of the stock air box?? That is a cold air intake.

Yes, this is what I find funny about the whole CAI concept is that the stock system IS a CAI.

And it isn't shiny. If it isn't polished or powdercoated, then it isn't good for more HP.
