    Anyone know how many miles are left once your gas light comes on? Or how much gas is left?

    i've gone a good 25 miles....and didn't push it anymore...so i have no idea...

    why risk it, if the light is on IMO just atleast put in something to get you to a station(one you want)
    no need to risk it if you dont have to

    I believe I was told 30 miles...but I don't really think that I'll try it! Lol.

    Subaru says, you have 3 gallons left when the light comes on...but I wouldn't trust it!

    Yea my gas light came on on the way home from work.... While i was filling i was just curious. I didnt wanna chance driving across town to my fav gas station, they sell 98 unleaded. :)

    I know when mine comes on I end up with ABOUT one gallon left. Its a pretty late warning, IMO.

    Everytime my gas light came on, when I filled, usually 12-13 gallon fills to the top.

    There's absolutely no ****ing reason to run out and buy 98 octane if you aren't tuned for it.

    Did you fill it up?? How many gallons did you put in?? What kinda of milage do you get?? You can finish off the math from here.

    Oh ya, and running your motor hard on gas it was not tuned for (even when the gas is better) will kill your rod bearings. If you are tuned for 92-93, don't put 100 in and think you are safe to go beat on it, you are actually making things worse.
