Nope. Neither. Used one once, never will again. It'll round off anything and everything if its on tight.
ej20... if you want cheap tools then CSK is perfect for that.. ask nitelite.... if you wanna set yourself up some decent tools, slowly add to that collection, lifetime warranty on most, and usually not that much more.... you keep asking for opinions on cheap crappy stuff.... most people on here who WORK on their own cars don't buy cheap crap or gadgets.... I have used one similar once to get a nut of a DP for one of the guys on here.. thing was it was a MAC tools design which means it works.... ps SEARS is a good place for in-expensive tools, with usually great warranty...
I have used one of these but it wasn't a cheepo. Back when I managed a Valvoline those sockets could be a life saver on a stripped oil plug. I still keep one in my tool kit in the car as a back up to the socket set.
nah, my tool collection is ok. 9 drawer w/over 1500pc Cratftsman is good enought for me. just wondering how durable is the Gator socket.
No don't do it!! My sister gave me one for christmas a while ago, I tried it twice and found it to be big bulky heavy and just didn't work. Buy a good set of tools, or just go out and buy a couple of good sockets. Mike
I got one for free and it's actually come in handy for some oddball applications, like taking off the remainig half of my oil plug on my volkswagen when I shaved it off on a speed bump...
