I'm close to working out a deal with some guy in Wisconsin for a subie. It's an '02 wrx. The car has a new motor with 30k on it, newly rebuilt tranny, new turbo and turbo inlet. the body has 106k miles on it. he wants $8500 for it. he said my car plus a couple grand and i get the subie. good deal?

If "a couple grand" means $2,000 AND he's got reciepts for trans/motor/turbo work. It sounds good to me. Just make sure hes got reciepts for the work. Also before you get into a wrx from your sentra, check with your insurance to see the difference as it can be a lot more.

Yes i have checked quotes. My mom sells insurance. It is about the same price because I drive the se-r.

It is a 2002 nissan sentra se-r with 56,800 miles.
