On db's Dyno i say 296 HP and 301 Tq for evan. That's just me though. the cobra will break the record

And my stock STi was at 211HP and 217 ft/lbs... seems to at least close to right, wish my #s were a little higher. It is just that everyone was surprised by the #'s Fong got.
funny you say that. they have a white board with the highest dyno numbers on it, guess what's #1... an '03 Cobra. had somewhere in the mid 600's.

Yes, my numbers suck. But I saved a bunch of money by yelling at Geico. Also, pistons/rods/and some other bits are on the way

i was just at his dyno. they are having abit of boost problem. the car will not boost over 12 or 13 psi. but when i last check they put a boost controler on it and he made near 260 whp. oo yea that was at 2pm today. well see how it turn out.
wow i hate subarus...time for a cobra. I was on the dyno for 6 hours! i was only hitting 12psi but was getting 240whp. Then i put on a boost controler and ended up with 280whp. It runs ok but the intercooler pipe is lose and keeps falling off. I think thats whats killing my power. I think once i get the pipe solid and it wont fall off i might go back and get some more numbers...i think a leak will take off power if its from th fmic, right? Yeah so 280whp on pump with problems lol.....
I guess you didn't know you had a boost leak until it read low, right? At least you beat my lowly, untuned 271 WHP.
i dont know if it was to bad enough to even give me a boost leak but i think it affected my torque alot, i was able to get to 19 psi but not for long, would drop to 18 right away...my torque was 253 at like 5500 rpms the ended at like 200 at 6900 rpms..so it drops a lot. I get full boost at around 5500 rpms, he thought i should have got it faster but im just not sure. once i get this part fixed i am going to test drive it and see how it feels.
are you still running the stock bcs?? You should be able to get alot more boost out of it. You might be running out of gear before it can spool. I ran into that on another car with a 1820 turbo. Russ

Well got all the video to the computer from both cameras.... 15 gig later. I will see what I can do to get those to you on a few dvd's for editing later.
his STi offsets his mustang so it doesnt count. Evan can get one but he would have to keep his wrx to offset the mustang.... see how it works :laugh:
so is the rule you have to have one Suby for every cobra? If that's the case i'll be up to the standard soon, i need a winter vehicle.
