to play Halo 3, but also want to get a racing game. I know you guys have liked Forza 2 so far, but Project Gotham Racing 4 is coming out soon too. I've never played either series and would like comparison opinions.
I played Forza 1. I am a much bigger fan of the Gran Turismo series. although you can swap a EJ22G around in Forza  22b swapped RS
Project Gotham is more of an arcade racer, Forza 2 is a simulation racer. Buy Forza 2. Don't forget to put an LS7 into a soltice.... oh and then you might as well add some boost too cause you won't get traction till 120mph anyways. /thread.
dirt is good if you like travis pastrana's whiny voice crackin jokes all the time. gameplay is dece. i wasn't hooked
i agree with them. forza 2 concentrates to much on detail that it's almost not fun, but then again i'm almost certain everyone agrees that it's a good simulation. it's just not as arcade like imo. gran turismo has that almost arcade feel with very nice envoirnments and shaded terrain.
agreed. wasn't all that impressed and the travis's voice got annoying even during the demo. as for the 360......kiss your life goodbye...the platform and xbox live is addicting. only complaint I've had is the red lights of death. I've returned my system twice now, but microsoft customer service has warrantied the system and they get a new one back to me within a week. btw- I use the screen name Dr3ad3d evil
cancel that...I'm NOT buying halo 3, they've sold out.... im sure you would all do they same thing if you were in advertising and found out how many viewers watch the damned nascar.
well i've now bought forza 2 and will actually probably buy pgr4 once it's available used i hardly ever buy new games, but I love halo so there btw getting the halo box - i think it's going to rock especially with that smexy HDMI port
My hatred for NASCAR is bottomless. It is a vacuumous maw of belligerent spite from which there is no escape. I burn wooden WRC logos in Tony Stewart's lawn.
I actually canceled my pre-order for halo3 a couple months ago. But on topic I def recommend forza over the PGR series. Project Gotham is a little too much like need for speed with the driving physics.
Forza 2=best racing yet. I was a long time gran turismo fan, and in the 3 weeks I've been playing forza it's just waymore fun.
Plus, I highly doubt they'll ever be releasing any Final Fantasy games on the Xbox. So, that pretty much straightlines me into the PS3.
