    Who all would be interested in another lug nut groupbuy?

    This time around it will probably be gorilla and in loose sets (rather than prepackaged kits). The contents will be the same (20 spline drive lug nuts and a key), just not packaged up nice and pretty. This should cut down the cost quite a bit. I don't currently have exact pricing since we don't have a bulk order quantity, but it sounds like it will be quite a bit cheaper than the last group buy:

    This is doable, but depends on how many others want them. The price break is coming from buying individual nuts and keys in bulk.

    I need something for my bbs's. Sheen you'd probably know better of what I need then myself. I'm thinking black or silver.

    black or chrome closed ended. I'd stay away from the red/blue/silver unless you're really careful and don't run them in the winter.

    When I get enough interest to do the GB. We need at least 10-15 sets total to make it worthwhile methinks. About 5+ sets per color/type.

    In a week or so, I'll contact the vendor with an approximate head count, then they'll be able to give us pricing and ship date.

    I'll post up an official GB thread later once the details fall into place.

    The price breaks are gonna depend on quantity, so if you were the only one ordering blue aluminum race lugs, you wouldn't get as much of a discount as one of the 7 people ordering black closed ended spline drive nuts.

    anybody know how deep the stock lug nuts are? the steelies leave a lot of the stud sticking out, but the stock acorns don't bottom out....

    I'll be in for black closed ended.

    The close end lugs will not botton out. They are a lil deeper the stock.

    I am curious as to the pricing. My Muteki are holding up alright, but I wouldnt mind having another set on hand. I am also very tempted by the red. IIRC they look kind of CBR-ish in the sunlight...

    Not off hand, but I'll look into it.

    I'm going to tentatively say, yes. The keys will be ordered separate from the nuts. I have 6 sets of keys :laugh: One in each car, 2 spares in the garage, and one with a torque wrench.

    Without discount, price is around $35. I'll find out exact pricing next week once we have a better head count, but that gives you a ballpark estimate for now.

    Yeah, my mutekis, gorillas, mcgard, and stockers are doing just fine. It's the cheapo hex head nuts you get free from edgeracing and sometimes tirerack that get beat up and start rusting and the chrome chips off.

    Yours shipped already. I'll get them soon.

    To the people saying "1x"

    Do you really only want ONE SINGLE lug nut? Or a set of 20?

    We're planning on buying in bulk, not sets.

    Yeah, I read 1x as 20 nuts. Good point tho. If you only need 16 or don't need a key or something like that, please note that. Otherwise I'll assume everyone is looking for 20 nuts and a key.

    if I could find my caliper, I could just measure a stock acorn nut.....ugh....


    anyway, also depending on price, I would probably like a spare key too. I'd hate to loose one!



    also, just for clarification. these are for 60 degree conical seat nuts like stock, yes? I don't want to be "that guy" running shank lug nuts with conical wheels.....

    Do they all end up looking like crap? I mean my silver nuts are turning rusty now (I believe they are Gorilla's) does anyone have experience with the colored Gorilla's?

    Found info on stock wheel stud length(s) :dunno:

    Thanks for clarifying. Yes, these will be conical seat nuts unless otherwise noted.
