I have a 2000 rs 2.5 and I am having alittle engine problem. Every once in awhile when I come to a stop and start going again it sputters. I cahnge the spark plug and fuel filter and that did not work. Does anyone have any other ideas?

vaccum leak? get some carb cleaner and spray around any possible areas while the car is running. if the revs go up you got a leak. clean the needle on your MAF with rubbing alcohol. it's hard to tell with out experiencing it. just some ideas

it could be the spark plug wires. Also check your battery terminals for corrosion.

+2 knock sensor, my old pre swap motor went through two knock sensors in 50k. but my problem was at part throttle acceleration under average load.
