Or so it would seem...I just looked them up on here. In stock.

Stolen from a thread on osecuroms.org

I should note that the discounts mentioned no longer are valid.

its the harness that plugs into the BCS. Its a compatible harness that has a two lead output. I believe the original purpose of solenoid was for their ABS vacuum system, not a boost control solenoid. It works better, and provides smoother boost on stock/modified imprezas than came originally

The prices have definitely skyrocketed, but at least they are still available.

For the money I think I'm just going to skip the BCS, and get the normal XPT stage 2.

*waits for nuke or bullwinkle to chime in*

It is the same pigtail used on half of any GM. Almost every GM washer fluid pump uses that plug. I think I could source a dozen of them from my dad's Lumina.

Or you can find a MAC distributor and get this solenoid for about $22.

piddster-I may need a new solenoid anyhow. The stocker has been acting up.

Is there a site I can look for those?

I will say that the GM solenoid worked as well as my MAC one does. I was chasing a boost overrun issue that ended up being the frequency I was running it at.

Yes, the frequency is about the only thing that could cause a 3-port to vary in operation at all. A 3-port is a 3-port is a 3-port. That's about it. About the only thing that could be different and beneficial is the size.

What is nice about the MAC solenoid is the 1/8 NPT ports, so you can use damn near any fitting on it and if you want to get real fancy like fabiola, you can use all the baller style AN stuff.
