Surly hell that is! This is the best lager I've ever had. I was completly turned off to the style too, until now.
Get it while you can, several stores are already sold out! :yumyum:

Good luck! I got the last two from the Four Firkins @ 11pm, only after an hour of being on sale. Alvey even opened the store two hours early for this.
I thought i was gonna get mugged in the parking lot based upon the evil glares i got from the people who walked in behind me.

Kinda sucks that they only allowed you 2 per person. I picked up 4, 4 packs today.

Yeah but such is the price of being a high profile store for Rare/Select beers.

I dont know. I kind of dont like the place. The guy that runs it is super nice and I have no problems with the staff at all. Its just so darn small, the selection to mee seemed fairly limited. I've had better luck at many other places.

My if I cant find it stores:

    Zipp's in Minneapolis
    Heritage in Maplewood
    Blue Max in Burnsville
    Chicones and Casanova's in Hudson

These are my go to places and the prices are alot lower then the Firkins.
Just trying to hook you up, not trying to bash your store of choice.

I love Casanova's. Its our closest source of Stone, someday we'll get it... someday...
That store is bad though, i have yet to leave there spending <$80

I just go to the Firkins cause its by far the closest to me and Alvey is a great guy. I agree prices are a bit high but i have no problem supporting a small store dedicated to only good beer.

True that. Or smell it, good luck getting any aroma off it from the can.

PaulasaurusREX, head over to Princeton's in Maple Grove. Operated by Bill Princeton, he has it on hand. Heres a link to his place.

I'm not pissed off, only sorry for you that you did not benifit from drinking your beer. I'm not a snob either, only informed lol. More of a geek then a snob.
But I've drank Surly from the the can too, as well an ten Fidy. I've seen Omar drink it from the can as well, so no beer foul here.
