Just installed the elbow this weekend, just wondering if anyone else has this installed, and if so how much noise they can actually hear. All I've noticed is you can barely hear the turbo spool up inside the car. From what I have read, it sounds like this thing should be creating a lot more noise. Just wondering.
    Thanks

i have heard if you put that in it's almost the same as if you hade the regular snorkle in there, it just dosent make some funny bends, like the stock one. i just took mine all out and sounds really good. noticed a bit of a diffrence.

not much with the elbow alone. add a high flow drop-in filter, that will give you a bit more sound with that elbow

how loud is your exhaust? I have an STI catback (pretty quiet) and the K&N and can hear the spool just fine. Scuba Steve on the other hand can hardly hear it all due to loud exhaust.

my gpmoto elbow just makes more intake drone and a little more turbo hiss. you can only hear the bpv if everything is very quiet. I still have a paper filter, I'll be getting a K&N in there in a few weeks.

the only reason i've used K&N's in all of my cars is that I buy it once and keep if for the life of the car. Of course i generally tend to keep cars for like 2 years, so it hasn't paid off yet...

I don't mind high flow panel filters because i can take a look at them regularly. I hate the ones in the fender line because essentially its where you won't really ever check on it.
