well i think its time for a new track

i played for about 10mins and got this for a starter time

Mid 1'15, I'm gonna try again tonight.

 

wow this is kinda dieing down. only 2 more days to beat this score. friday i might have to give it a whirl.

 

Time for a new one I just couldn't come close to that one.

 

wow ya know its kinda bad when after a whole week we cant beat a time it took him 10 minutes to get.

 

Martin, I have Monday and Tuesday off work, lets get together and play. I bet I can beat the 1'14.

sarthe is long, even when sitting there watching it so its always doing 3x. :|

 

well theres only a few days left in this contest. hope he passes the enduro on the first run.

I was all over the track for the first couple laps then had one that I managed to stay on the whole time, I don't think I did more than 7 laps either.

 

0'33.609 - Tires: Front - SS, Rear - M

 

^ interesting tactic. probably helps the rear end come around a bit easier.

Tomorrow after I am done fighting hordes of last minute shoppers I will see what i can do.

 

I used front - SS, rear - S it still came around and was almost undriveable feeling.

 

Really? I found it to be a brick when I tried that. Different driving style, I guess. :X

The only place I had problems with flipping ends was the first turn after the finish line, and only if I clipped the curb on the inside.

 

I used alot of e-brake action the first couple laps then I did the old Scandinavian flick.

 

Okay. Personally ... I don't touch the ebrake, and the first corner is the only one I even mildly flick... the rest of it is just weight transfer pulling the rear around (letting off the gas, tapping the brakes, etc) ... pretty much just driving smooth.

 

e-brake is pretty much instant loss. it slows you down too much.

0'33.559 - cleaned it up just a hair. Running fairly consistent 33.9ish +/- .2

If I'm honest, I'm only braking twice on the whole track ... the rest is slideways speed scrubbing, lifting off the gas, or flat out.

3PM edit - 0'33.446 now.

 

just powered it up. put down a 0'33.775. i see places for improvement.

Forza 1 sounds good. Or RalliSport Challenge 2? If you want to set up a new thread for either one that'd be cool, I'd take part in it.

 

Forza over RSC2... that game is horribly arcadish and requires next to no skill :roll:

You guys need to get RBR for your computers so we can do that :biggrin:

 

Is there a way you could burn copies of RBR Kelly? If so DO IT!

I bought my copy for 15 dollars shipped. And it was soooooo worth it!!!

 

I cant access the BMW Mclaren Race car. remember that these races are done in "arcade" mode. so that everyone is on an equal playing field. remove your memory card and enter arcade mode to see which cars are available.
