i just bought the wheel a couple days ago. the good logitech one. it takes some time getting used to. so will someone pick a track that most ppl have
You should pick the track if you aren't very far in the game. That way we know everyone should have it.
Anyone know where I can get the steering wheel the cheapest? Newegg has it for 95 bucks, that a good deal for the Driving Force Pro?
Go for it, you'er the slacker thus far, I have all but one track in arcade mode. (it's a dirt track too.) Best time so far is 2:15.261, I'll keep at it.
207.891 baby, no digital camera right now, I'll save it and post the pic later  Stock everything, ss tires.
The only way possible to get a 2'07 is to ride the **** outta the walls. I did it for part of the run and lowered my time down to 2'11. Although I'm not going to count it as my run because to me that's like not playing slop during a pool game
 fastest time...... It's still not even that fast, in fact I don't really care for the city courses. I figured I'd stir the pot a little. Either way, it takes some talent to bounce correctly and not spin. and there's no real way to prove or disprove that anyone riding the walls, though I'll admit guilty as charged, you can't regulate that "rule' you can only pick a course you can't do it on. I personally wouldn't pick a city course for that reason alone.
Umm yeah I just won that piece of crap tonight  atleast they could give you some damn money for it.....
So just for fun I rode the walls around every corner and I got a 2'05.486. Stupid Gran Turismo  So any other place we want to race? Preferably a course without walls all around the track... like Tsukuba Circuit with the Cusco Advan Impreza? Is this ok with everyone?
the ring in a spec-C ought to weed out the cheaters. also if you lower the hp in the 246hp WRX all the way you can get US spec power out of it. Just for all you WRX owners, and if you realy want the Rex experience get road tyres.
Do the 24 hour of nurburgring endurance race in spec b mode with the hardest tires and the fastest car you have (I used a JGTC NSX... I think it was the takata one). Just let it go all day and all night and then you'll have the F1 car, that can beat nearly anything. I think I'm right around where you're at, I haven't played in a while, but I'm going to work on it. I think I care more about my collection of cars than how many races I've finished
I am a huge geek when it comes to GT4 I have played it at least 5-6 time a week since I got it after waiting in my car all night when it came out. I have achived 100% twice and my 3rd game is curently @ 52% GT4 is the only game I have other than GT1-3, my PS2 slim has never known the feel of another game. my longes time playing without stoping was when I did the Tskuba 9hour endurance race without b-spec mode. Or maybe the time I did the Euro 1000 mile race without b-spec. The DFP helps A LOT.
I wasn't trying to "cheat" I was just making a point, I can drive, pretty darn good though, being a big fan since gt1. Ugh I'm kind of stuck right now, I need a supercar that can win the supercar challenge on the professional races, any suggestions?
for those of you that are looking for the DFP wheel. This is where i bought it last week. Seems to be the best price around. http://www.compuplus.com/i-Logitech...3293-0403-1001863~refer-pricegrabber.com.html
Chaparral ( dont know spelling) the newest one the 70' 2J its one of the fastest cars in the game. Honestly just try it.
Is the car you get from the 1000 mile euro race any good? the "ALFA ROMEO Giulia Sprint Speciale '63" ? I'm on the second race of that now
You can get the car by completing the nurburgring 4hr race and it's an american car so you know where to tune it. I'm in the process of winning it right now with my handy dandy Takata NSX So lets start a new race... Track: Tsukaba (sp?) Car: Cusco Advan Impreza (both course and car can be driven without a memory card so give it a go Justin ) http://www.gtvault.com/gt4/ A great place to get good setups
i think i am in the 40% range. i have the last series left in pro, that i just cant beat. theres alot of % points you can get in the one make races. so the new deal here is Tskuba raceway w/ a stock cusco STi? what ever tires? any changes to factory settigns or no(ie ride hieght) ?
Seriously I need help with a production supercar the chapperelle (sp?) i don't believe is a production car, I didn't know it was in the game, but i look forward to driving it. 8)
I only have 20 minutes to go until I get the chaparral. I'm looking forward to driving it . Any rare cars that are a blast to drive you guys like? And another idea, how about a GT4 picture thread?
ok i gave it a shot best lap was 0'55.263 on all stock settings. only runnign soft tires (i thnk these are stockers). might have to try it agian w/ super softs didnt we already have a GT4 pic thread?
I have no idea, but when you post the picture, take it of the screen after you end racing, it will have the weight, hp, track, and time. It's just to make sure no one lowers the weight and increases the hp. There might already be a pic thread or we could just start a new one
I just finished the 4 hour endurance race and I won the 2D... not the 2J :x Son of a B****!!! Here's the deal, by owning the 2D, you can now buy the 2D I win!!!
I went to it before I ran the 4 hour endurance and it had no price, then I got in my chaparral 2D after winning and went to buy stuff for it and I just checked again and now it had a price on it. Unless I'm totally wrong, I should upload a new game or something and try it.
hahaha, I just did that 1000 mile euro cup thing, only to win a crappy 114hp alfa romeo thats worth 13kCR
yea I had a prize list from gamefaqs, I just think that over 9 hours of racing should be awarded with a better car.
