If it was I'd assume that person has mental problems. He'll probably need NOS to spool a turbo that big or wait till 7K.
i thought you have to spool it to use anti-lag? hopfully they have a twinscroll header and if so i would think that they still wouldent make boost untell 5500-6. super cool and will be keeping my eye on this one.
about time people! i kind of allready want a 42r and i dont even have my car running yet. from looking at the pics it looks like its not a twinscroll header. i dont think i have seen one setup yet that has had a twinscroll header thats bigger then a 40r. and a single scroll 40r doesent make full boost untell 5 grand. would think that shops would of thought about getting the most out of the setup before having to use nos of a anti-lag in this case. next year maybe i will change and go bigger just to see how much of a differance a twinscroll header will be on a really big turbo....
Correct me if I am wrong but I see several problems: 1) There is no piping for the turbo/intercooler/engine, which means it is not finished. 2) Turbo location means that the hood will melt. 3) The engine bay is covered in water, but the turbo inlet is exposed, as are the intakes for the engine. Is this some sort of new water injection system? 4) That turbo is bigger than what I have seen on some LS1 Camaros. Like the hatchback STi, I'll believe it when I see it.
think its just mock up picks becouse of all that and the down pipe is just tacked and yah abunch of missing pipes.
That's what I thought about anti-lag also. Isn't it more for a road racing application? Why would anyone use a turbo that big for road racing?
I just wouldn't put it past somebody on nasioc to post something hopelessly bizarre. Like somebody here who tri-turboed their motorcycle...
