I'm new here! I'm a long time Subaru owner and I know many of you from the legacygt.com forums. I probably should have signed on here long ago but my mom wouldn't let me. Alright, I am here because I would enjoy getting involved in the local Subaru/imports scene. Plus I know there is a wealth of Subaru knowledge in Minnesota just waiting to be tapped. I am looking forward to interacting with as many of you as possible.
Are you a dude? Your profile says you're a dude. Your picture tells another story. What car do you own? Pictures are fun
I am a male regardless of my pic. Never believe what you see or read on the Internets - especially on a forum full of car guys. I own a 2013 Subaru Legacy 3.6r Limited. I'll save the details for another day.
Coming from someone whose name is MN3.6R which would suggest you own a 3.6R as well. Perhaps you should take your own advice. I'll stick with the Subaru.
Thank you for the welcome! Car pics will be up soon. I promise. The Legacy goes in next week to DB Performance for the second round of upgrades. Currently working with Deatschwerks to put together a custom set of matched injectors for my Legacy. Also working with ECS Performance on the ECU ROM mapping so my Legacy can be tuned once it receives it's new fuel injection and supercharger. There will be plenty of time for pics. Lots to do. Donations accepted.
So buy an Audi man. Free country. I owned a Mercedes AMG C32 among other Euro sports sedans. Honestly, I enjoy my Legacy more. I assure you that modding an AMG would cost as much as my entire Legacy and that's not fun.
Glad to hear it. Well hopefully I can make a meaningful contribution and have some fun along the way.
Easy Mr. Apolis. One I think TMF was talking to me, two, at least my comment was semi sarcastic, the regulars around here know I have been wanting an Audi and for the longest time I had been the only 3.6r and now they are popping up all over. Must see these upgrades once complete and good luck!
No hard feelings intended. Yes, there seems to be a movement of 3.6r owners brave enough to mod their Soviet made machines. It's a shame that Subaru wrecked (IMO) the 3.6r by only making the 2015 available with a CVT mated to it.
...yep what MN3.6r said. I actually really didn't want to buy another Subaru and I test drove both the A4 and G37x...ended up buying a damn Subaru again though. The new legacy's are much nicer than any other Subaru that I have driven though, and still cheaper to own.

That's great to hear. I liked them because (1) they fit the style of the vehicle and don't grab your attention and (2) they have the two-piece rim appearance of more expensive wheels like OZs without paying OZ prices. Manny
Ok, who neglected to tell me Subaru put ANOTHER fun stopper on the mid/intermediate pipe? Adding that to the to-do list, "Cut out resonator and replace with new steel." On the fresh air side between the one gallon milk jug under the air filter box and the growth ("IT'S NOT A TUMOR!!") on the intake duct you would think they built the car for 50 year old women to drive to church in. Delete, delete, delete, delete... Next up saw off the cat and rip out the EGR system? ****, might just drop the block and bore her open to 3.8 liters...
