I don't own any guns but I have a lot of experience carrying them. Guns I've used: M16 M4 M9 M2 M60 M240B/C M249 M1A2 main gun 25mm chain gun (I forget the nomenclature) AK47 (various) Kalkov (mini AK47... these are the tits to shoot) MP5 Glock 17 (Iraqi Army Issue) Assorted .308 rifles (something like 5) Assorted 12 Gauges (something like 3) Assorted .22 rifles (a couple) .22 pistol The list goes on and on.
I've got a browning a-5 shotgun (20gauge) that I use for grouse hunting up near Zircle, MN. I've shot a bunch of other stuff though, 9mm glocks, dad's 1911 .45, .22's, .50 cal black powder pistols....etc etc etc -Steve

Foreigners are stupid. They associate gun ownership with gun violence because they can't make the simple connection in their heads that most gun violence is perpetrated by people that don't go through the legal means to own a gun. Criminals that break the law to commit gun violence aren't going to be hindered by laws that keep people from legally owning guns, they will buy the guns illegally the way they always have and use them for criminal activity, the way they always have. 99.9% of legal, law abiding gun owners that go through the proper channels to purchase a firearm never use them for criminal activity.

Over 100,000 people died as a result of drunk driving in a years time, 8300 died of gun related violence. And driving a car isn't a constitutional right. You have no right to drive a car in this country, so I say, anyone that drinks alcohol should have their license taken away. That makes sense to me. 100,000 deaths caused by people driving cars while drinking. And 8300? That sounds like it might make a good correlation to the amount of violent thugs that buy guns illegally to use in violent crimes. I can't exaclty prove that with numbers, but I'm willing to bet it has something to do with it.
