Has anyone seen a wing similar to the OEM Sti wing, only a little bit shorter? I really like the look of the stock one, but it could be a bit shorter IMO. Any leads on where to find one?

    Joel -

I haven't seen anything closely resembling the STI wing in a half-height or shorter version, however there are many other good looking options out there.

Years ago there was a guy on iwsti that made exactly what you're talking about. But that was like 4 years ago, I'm not sure if he made them and sold or what. Aside from that I haven't seen anything else like it.

I have seen those, but personally, I'm not a fan of the stock WRX wing. I was looking more for something like this:

The problem is that the STi wing has that lower deck that covers half the trunk. Take it off and there are like 14 holes in the trunklid. All the aftermarket options are designed to replace the WRX wing (only 4 holes) - there is nothing that is a direct replacement for the STi wing.

There were a couple shorter ones floating around that replace the top section (like the black one you posted) but they were one-off prototypes, no one ever put them into production.

Maybe I will just mount a ladder on my trunk.

I'm with you on a much shorter version of the STi wing. I like mine, but would love to find something like what you're looking for. Unfortunately, if there was something, it most likely will be even more difficult to find my color, unless I painted it myself.

Is it easy to replace the wrx wing with the STi wing?

Im guessing it would take quite a bit of work but definitely doable. Although, I would never put an STi wing on an WRX. Thats like getting an s15 headlight conversion for your integra.

Its easier to just swap trunks. More bolt holes and all of them in different spots on the STI wing.

Equally as subtle, but nowhere near as legitimate:
