Thanks guys I have a law school final exam so it's not going to be all that fun, but I did get cossetta's pizza for lunch. BTW...my name is John and I live in woodbury. I drive an 05 STi (black on silver, supertones, tint, drive right pass left license plate frame) Used to go by the name Minnesota01R6 but I have changed email addresses since then and couldn't reactivate my old account.
^^^what does this mean!? And I thought you were from 'Hood'bury! Happy B-day! I have been amused by your screen name since you joined! :laugh:lol:laugh: Welcome to the forum, and good luck with the exam!
It means you drive on the right and pass on the left. A courtesy and a technique that has all but been forgotten by all drivers these days.
Ahhh! Thanks for the info. I am also a driver of the right lane...left lane is for passing and emergency vehicles only! Well at least every state that I've lived in.:dunno: I feel that MN is one of the worst states for that violation also! Lots of 'leftlaneluvers'.
you aren't supposed to pass on the right and people in this state can't seem to get that through their heads. i think that everyone should re-test for their license every 10 years or so. Then once you get past retirement age, every 5 years. Road tests. I'd do it if it meant it would weed out the stupids.
People driving in the fast lane is the reason behind people passing on the right which is dangerous as hell. I don't understand why it is that nobody seems to pass and then move back over anymore. Like the miXx said, a common courtesy that has been forgotten by most! Btw, I didn't say that I pass on the right in my last post if this quote was because of my comment. I said I drive in the right lane.
haha no, this wasn't cause of that I'm just tired of bad roads and dumb drivers  and someone had to bring it up ;p
That's a sweet plate frame, too. For anyone else that wants one (too bad they went to cafepress). http://www.driverightpassleft.com/
Actually, it's not illegal in this state. It's daft, but not illegal. Coming from the UK, it took me a while to get used to being passed, and being able to pass on both sides. Still doesn't make it good. Stuart.
Yeah, it's just not nice. I was taught in another state where it was illegal, and people still do it
hahaha....off-topic. This is a 'birthday wish' thread! Easy to get off topic when "bad driving" is the discussion though! *** HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEANFLICKR!!***...hahaha...<<<still makes me LOL John!:cheers2:
OK, OK, back on topic, Happy Birthday BeanFlickr. Now tell me what made you choose such an unusual handle. Stuart.
At the risk of violating the TOS, flicking the bean has nothing to do with weed. It is used as a euphemism for rubbing or "flicking" a part of the female anatomy. It is a screen name I stole (registered on AOL first) from webcrawlr back in 1996 or so. There should have been an "e" in the name, but at the time AOL screen names were limited to 10 characters - not sure about now. webcrawlr: sorry bout the email...I am at school (not) studying for the test I have to take at 6:00.
