Was wondering how could I polish my headlights from all the chips and fogging? I know some people here know how to do it and sell there service. I would pay someone to show me how to do it. Let me know. Thanks, Taras

I just used this on mine about a month ago and the difference is amazing. Directions are very clear and easy to do. Just rub on the cleaner with one of the foam pads provided. Wipe it off and follow up with the polish using the other foam pad provided. If you head lights are really bad you can buff them with this stuff too, but it's usually not necessary. It truly works wonders - You will not be disappointed! My headlights were very foggy before I did this and now they are like brand new! Well worth the $25.

...................or just go to checker auto parts and buy their headlight polishing kit for $11...it will bring headlights that are a 1 to a 9.5 in under an hour, my trick is while sanding tie a hose to someting tall so it constantly is shooting water at where your sanding, lube it up! seriously though it kicks ass, go buy it

Some of the "fog" may be one the inside. I did the same thing on mine... then i just took them apart and cleaned/buffed them. Then while i was in there i painted them

Usually I just wax mines and it ends up being really nice and clean. But if you say yours is bad then you have work to do.

Use the rubbing compound on the inside also, it should help quite a bit. Clean THOROUGHLY.

    Its not that hard...
    take off grill
    unplug headlight bulbs
un bolt head lights and remove assembly
    Heat oven- 250 deg
    put in oven 7-10 mins
Using pry bar and screw driver, CARFULLY pry the head light assembly apart(may be hot) there are several clips holding the two together (seal is very messy)make sure the seal is gooey enough, yea gooey... if not it will break
Once they are apart, Buff inside and out
Put back side in oven for 5-7 mins to reheat the seal... if more seal is needed RTV black works well
Push back together making sure the two sides push all the way together and clips are in place
put assembly in place and bolt in
    Put grill back on
    plug lights in
    PICS coming soon

My vote is for the Checker kit. I did mine today and my 14 year-old headlights look like they're only a couple months old, now.

    20 minutes in my driveway.
