    soo just found out this morning that my bulb in my headlight went out (driver side) havent done it in a subaru yet, so i was wondering if its hard at all?? and we are talking 02 body style FYI..

    very easy, in the 04 wrx anyway. I cant imagine it would be much harder in the bugeye.

    ZOMG, not a headlight bulb. Go to NAPA and get a 9007, and you will be fine.

    lol just askin!! cause spark plugs were a pain to get at...so i was just hoping these werent too!

    SubieDriver has a N/A motor. I can have them done in 3 min. If you don't know what your talking about, shut your yapper!:biggrin:

    That's not what they were talking about. They were talking about N/A plugs, not turbo plugs. And it started from a headlight bulb.

    It's a 9007 Bulb, should take a min or two to change it. Just make sure the plug is secured onto the bulb all the way, or you could potentially melt the connector.

    I had a headlight go out last night too. I've got the Morette headlights and it took longer in the store to find and pay for the bulb than it did to install it. Those damn Silverstar headlights are XPNSIV!

    i feel half dumb when im driving with a headlight out ! its kinda annoying...hahaha.

    And theyre weak, when I was rearended the driverside silverstar burnt out, after only like 3 weeks in my car.

    i noticed with the silverstar junk that it's best to disconnect the DRL...they last much longer. Otherwise I typically have gone through them in 6 months:(

    Osram silverstar lasts much longer than sylvania. But the only way I've been able to get em is thru teh internets.

    Very true. AFAIK, they don't sell them here in the states. Some "tuner" shops may sell them though. Just make sure if your looking for them, that the package says Osram, not Sylvania. They are made in Germany.

    Your plugs are different than a newer 2.5 SOHC, but still easy!
