Not to get off topic but this was a parody of inglorious bastards...if you are offended by it, it shouldn't matter what day it is...they just used the scene because all the questioning fit...personally didn't find it funny, but much worse jokes have been made.

Hitler drove "stanced" cars. All stancetards are nazis.

lol at internet "tough guys" and keyboard warriors.

You think this forum is filled with trash talkers? Maybe you should get some thicker skin, brah.

Nothing wrong with lowering a vehicle, but a line has to drawn from what looks good and what is just ridiculous and impractical. I hope cities put more speed bumps around town for the "Stanced Nation" crew...

Just so were all clear what exactly is impractical? How low is too low? Cause I think everyone has a different opinion...

I understand that opinions are like assholes and everyone has one, but if you have to worry about getting into your driveway at just the right angle. If you find yourself wondering if a lift will be able to get under your car then it might be too low IMO.

Esp in MN if you stance your car and DD it... I could see people doing it more in warmer climates though.

Well if Jeff the alignment guy was complaining that OP's setup was too low then he is too ****ing low. The dude is a professional and very good at what he does and OP was just butthurt that Jeff was not massaging his pee pee about how awesome and flush his car is.

If the picture in his profile photo is of how the car was when he brought it to Jeff it doesn't look hella stance.

There is a difference between lowering a little bit and -5.5* rear camber.

I have to hit my driveway at the right angle in my Forester or I scrape my mudflaps and my exhaust. And compared to some people I'm pretty high off the ground. I had to fabricate a set of boards to get my old E30 in and out but there were no problems driving it on the road.

Car looks good...doesnt look too low or stanced. I know Woodbury is horrible for high driveway aprons.

Yeah! for First Gear, I so miss you guys. I was wondering if I would see you on here.

Jeff is a character and you really have to just go into the experience like you will be having a talk with your crazy uncle Bob at Thanksgiving. I have had him align two of my cars, a 1987 BMW E30 which he complained had a coilover suspension that was way to stiff for the chassis which was apparently going soft in the middle, and a 2002 BMW M5 which he insisted was designed by German sadists who had used special nuts made of lead.

The E30 suspension had been done by the previous owner and there were some issues with the camber plates, he wanted to change a couple of bolts to get them lined up the way he wanted so he left me there while he ran to the store to get the bolts he needed. He is a perfectionist about what he does.

His work was wonderful and the conversation interesting if not congenial. Word to the wise, do not bring up George Carlin, he does not like him. Trust me.
