Hello fellow enthusiests. I'm Mark and I've been a member for a good while now. I haven't chimed in much, but I've lurked event threads and classifieds for a while. I just upgraded from this: .. to this: Keen observers will notice the addition of a hood scoop and wide body in the latter. After two months of waiting for a dealership-dealership transfer, I picked up a 2013 WRX from Bloomington Subaru (which I highly recommend you avoid when looking for a new car; I can post details if anyone cares). I'll be heading to ricekillers in Brooklyn Park next week with a friend of mine (speed6 :[ ), and I welcome anyone to join. I definitely wouldn't mind a couple of Subaru friends. Notice: I'll have a tint by then, but I'm about the blondest/palest person you'll ever see, so I'm easy to spot. Glad to finally be active in a community with great passion and enthusiasm. Oh- and I almost forgot to ask-- Are there any good roads around the cities that are good for cruising? I need to break this bad boy in before Sept 6-8

Welcome to the site. The river is always a good place to find windy roads. Both the MN and WI side have fun roads to tool around on. Tuesday meets are a great time to meet other members and BS cars. If you really want to learn how to drive that new ride we do have a driving school/track event coming up in two weeks. It is a driving school and not a race, so it could give you some valuable seat time. Derek
