Hi all. finally figured I should become a member instead of just lurking on the site. I've got an 03 WRX that's almost 100% stock. Nothing all that special, other than being hit by 2 (yes TWO) different semi trucks within 6 weeks of me owning it, and still looking relatively respectable.
Yeah it's pretty clean except for the bit of damage from big trucks. The black paint is POR15 to prevent rust from the paint cracking off. All said and done, not bad for 164K and a couple accidents.
hehe, I don't think I'd still be in the car if I got hit by two semi's in as many weeks of ownership. I'm not a superstitious guy but uhhhh... Anyway, welcome! Go sign up for our fall colors cruise (link in my sig), we need participants!
Yeah I hear you. Almost got rid of it for that exact reason. I'll check out the fall colors and see what the schedule looks like.
Thanks for all the welcomes. Yeah I was in the car both times. Guy blew his right hand turn and hit the side in Minneapolis. Second was a guy sitting behind me waiting for a train in new Brighton. Let off his brakes and rolled into the back end. I was less than happy both times.
