Ok so I have an 06 wrx. I just put on a turbo back exhaust and an spt intake a few days ago, and today after the meet my check engine light and cruise control lights decided to flash. After plugging a wire that was disconnected under my dash for some reason (two green clip ins) only the check engine light flashes now. We reset the electronics and did the 20-40mph pulls to reset the engine timing and the light is still on. any advice? this is really freaking me out

Unplug the green connector! That puts the ECU in test mode and should have a CEL if connected. The original CEL might have been O2 if your TBE deleted a cat, or a might have been caused by the intake (spt shouldn't, but maybe).

You need a tune after doing those mods. The CEL is your car telling you this fact. I'd recommend you stop doing pulls before you break something, and get a tune asap.

And yes, the green test connectors should only be plugged in to flash the ECU.

Also the cruise light flashes when you have a check engine light (maybe only certain codes) in a drive by wire car, which the sti is. Basically it's telling you the cruise is disabled while the problem persists, since the ecu controls the throttle.

Did the turbo back exhaust eliminate the cat converter?
